Heey! My name is Scooter Chicas. Im 14 years old and i love to sing. I play Drums,Guitar,and Piano. Ive been singing for about 2 years but ive been singing around the house my whole life. I've always loved music. I have always been inspired by "The Beatles" and "Michael Jackson". When i was really little i had a little baby keyboard and i loved that thing. I played with it all the time. I also had a portable radio that had a microphone attached to it. I would take that thing everywhere! I would sing all different songs and i had so much fun. I played with it till i was 7 and then i got a real microphone. I also used to put on little concerts for my parents singing all different songs. I had sooo much fun! I also learned about other instruments when my school introduced them to my class. I saw the Alto Sax and really wanted to play it. So i tried it but then it really wasn't what i wanted. Then i switched from Alto Sax to Trumpet. I really liked the Trumpet!! i would play it all the time. But later on i saw that Drums was another Option. So i really wanted to learn. I had to give up the Trumpet but i think it was worth it! I started playing Drums when i was 8 i got my first drum kit christmas 2006 and i loved that thing! But then i was getting older and it became to small. So one of my friends gave me there kit which was bigger and really cool! I started to play along to songs like Green Day and practiced alot to get it right. I also joined the school band and started to play drums there too. I started late in the school year but my teacher helped me catch up in time. It took alot of work but i was a willing 3rd grader that would do what ever it took. Later on about 2 years later, I found interest in Piano. I was 10 and i would watch "The Naked Brothers Band" on T.V. I saw how "Nat Wolff" could play Piano and sing, and i wanted to be like him. So i asked my parents if i could learn Piano and they said yes! So i started taking lessons and instantly my teacher saw something in me. She saw that i could do something that would take someone a week to do in 2 days! She helped me alot and i learned alot of different songs. I mostly loved "The Beatles" at the time and i learned almost all the songs. I played for about 3 years and then i wanted to learn guitar. I was already taking Piano lessons so there was no time for Guitar lessons. So i had a Guitar in my house and picked it up and started to play around with it. It was challenging doing it on my own but i tried harder and harder everyday! I basically self tought myself Guitar for a year but later on after i started to get better i switched my Piano lessons for Guitar. I also was inspired by Justin Bieber. I saw him as another "The Naked Brothers Band". He was a young artist and i wanted to be like him also. He sang very well and played different instruments. I wanted to learn how to sing like him. I started practicing his songs and the songs he covered. While learning them i realized the some of them were songs that i had already knew, but just forgot about them. I wanted to put song covers on youtube but i didn't have any equipment to do so. Later on i got a camera and a youtube account. I didn't have a lot of time but i finally posted a video 2 years later. Some songs i had to learn on Guitar and i was new at playing it so it was challenging. I am currently taking Guitar lessons. Ever since I've been playing instruments ive been singing too. I wasn't serious with singing, it was jus for fun. But the last 2 years I've been serious with my singing. I've been training my voice and I think I'm improving! Early 2011 i started posting videos on Youtube to show people my talents. My first video werent the best but i put them up anyway. I figured later on when i get better people can see my improvement! I had 0 subscribers for a while. Then i started to get a few but it still wasn't much. I started Twitter in May 2011 and in June people started to discover me. And it all started there. I went from 10 followers to 100 in about a week and went from 5 subs to 25. Everyday my numbers rise! I know my fans are proud of me and i hope they stick with me through everything! I love them so much! they have made me what i am today! i hope to go far someday and i hope you'll be here with me! Thank you so much for your support! -Scooter Chicas
